Josh Gauthier is a writer and playwright focusing primarily on speculative fiction. He earned an MFA in creative writing from the University of Southern Maine’s Stonecoast Program where he concentrated on popular fiction.
He is involved with the Maine Writers & Publishers Alliance, the local theater community, and previously co-organized two different writing series: Local Writers Read in Lewiston, Maine, which spotlighted Maine writers and their work–and Writers, Readers, and the Stories We Love, which featured a monthly guest to discuss writing craft and storytelling.
Until recently, Josh spent his days working as a librarian. In his free time, he can be found reading, watching movies, gaming, and drinking too much coffee in order to sustain his dual caffeine-writing habit.
